Ever since the day my cousin showed me a picture of Mt. Pulag 2 years ago, it has been part of my Bucket List. Little did I know I was scratching it off my list sooner than expected. This trip was a spur of the moment decision. When I found out my brother and his mountaineering friends were going, without second thoughts, I signed up for it as well. The trip was in less than two weeks and there was no time for preparation. I looked at my wardrobe frustrated because I did not own a single thing that can be used for the trek. Not to mention I have never gone on a major camping/trekking trip in my life. I didn’t know what to expect but I was going with a big group and most of them were pros which I found comfort in. Traveling with your friends can be very fun and exciting! It doesn’t matter where you go as long as the company is great. We wanted a vacation without the hassle of traveling too far and too long. So we thought, since we were all Palawan virgins, where better to spend a weekend getaway than in Coron? It is only an hour’s flight from Cebu and the seat sale purchase was a bonus. It was perfect. Our tickets were for PHP2,400 roundtrip.
Happy New Year Everyone! I haven’t updated my blog in months because I lost interest in it. In fact I have lost interest in a lot of things lately. 2014 was a blur but thankful enough that it happened because I needed it. i needed time to reflect on myself, my relationship, my talent and my passion. i will writing about my travels again soon and hopefully I’ll get to inspire you to finally take a leap of faith and buy that ticket and follow your dreams!

I’m not really a New Year’s Resolution person. I figure – Thursday, January first of 2015 is no different than any other Thursday of any other week in any other month in any other year. If you want to make a difference in your life, to change or improve something; now is the time to do it. No matter what day or time or cycle of the moon you’re reading this during, now is the time.
As my New Year’s Eve showed me – it’s not what you have or what you do – it’s who you spend your time with that counts.
But – we have agreed upon a calendar year as a way to measure time and understand the importance of a year when it comes to the periods of time that we segment our lives into. As we sit here, we begin a new year. A new start…
